The Wheel

Wheel, you've done it again. The new Tamaqua location is just as delicious as Pottsville, but the best part: now I only have to walk two blocks to get there! I'm so grateful we finally have another restaurant in town other than pizza/Italian, Chinese, hoagies, and Burger King.

Shoutout to the three girls who took care of me (who answered my call for takeout, handed me my food, and took my payment). They were sweet, polite, and wearing their masks properly. Incredible eats aside, I'd return based on the service alone.

I ordered a sandwich similar to "the melt" from Wahlburgers (RIP Philly location): Italian white bread + caramelized onions + dill pickle chips + white American cheese + mayo + fresh burger + applewood bacon. The order comes with a side, so I got mini pierogies. I also ordered a bowl of crabby mac and cheese and can confirm they do not skimp on the crab meat! Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly executed; if you don't believe me, check the photos I posted. I must warn that what I ordered was way too much for the average person, and that you will feel plenty stuffed from just the sandwich and included side -- if you're even able to finish it.

My heart is happy and my belly is full. I wish this place all the success in the world and hope it's a mainstay in Tamaqua for years to come. Thanks for another cheesy good meal, Wheel!

Service and food quality was top notch just like their first original location in Pottsville.

All the servers and the host/hostess where polite and friendly. They were very accommodating.

As for the the food, what can I say? If you've been to the Wheel, you need no explanation. And if you've never acquainted the Wheel before, you're missing out on so of the best comfort food around!

I've tried a lot of food in the surrounding counties and the Wheel is in my top 10 best.
