Great food, don't miss the bongo bongo appetizer. Fresh Maine oysters, great steaks, good atmosphere. Perfect for anyone visiting Susquehanna University.

Service is fantastic - staff is always friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere (especially when the outside is open and we can bring our dog, Ollie!) Bongo dip appetizer is to die for. Beer selection is standard but it seems they have a lot of unique mixed drinks to choose from! Overall, we love this place!!!

After a long day on the road we stopped at BJ'S and we were very happy with our choice. The place was very busy on Saturday at 3pm always a good sign. We ordered the 6oz. Sirloin. It was excellent. The bread was hot out of the oven and delicious. I ordered a glass of excellent California cab. Overall great experience. Highly recommend!

BJ’s was originally a steakhouse and still serves a wide variety of stockyard steaks. I say “stockyard” steaks because rather than free-range steaks that have a “steaky” flavor, BJ’s—the last time I ordered steak there—steaks have none, though all are well prepared to the customer’s satisfaction.

The oyster bar is something else. It holds 4 to 6 different, usually fresh-water and salt-water varieties. They are served on the half shell on a bed of ice. When they were $1 the $2 a piece I always ordered a half dozen, but last week they were $3 a piece, so I forwent the pleasure.

BJ’s also offers several seafood dishes that are indeed delicious. I ordered a four shrimp cocktail. They charge $1 a piece for shrimp. They come with optional cocktail sauce and extra horse radish and a lemon slice. They were reasonably large. I was happy with my fish main course.

The main dining room is too noisy for my wife and I and our friends. The oyster bar--if you can be seated there--is a bit quieter. In the summer you might be able to find a table out on the sidewalk.
