We had pickled beets and eggs appetizer followed by catfish special and steak. Food was excellent. There is a good selection of wines, all reasonably priced. The view on the river is spectacular.

River's Edge B&B was our first stop on our bike trip on the Great Allegheny Passage. The River's Edge B&B is located in the small town of Confluence, PA. The River's Edge B&B is a charming place to stay. It's clean and comfortable for a great price. The owner is very kind and helpful. We started having car trouble a few miles before arriving at River's Edge. We arrived for our overnight reservation just as the restaurant was closing for the night. When I went inside to check-in for our reservation and mentioned that we were having car problems I truly could not believe how amazing the staff was. They put me on the phone with Allen, the local mechanic who agreed to come look at the car at 9:15 PM. We were originally going to be dropped off by my husband and mom who had planned on driving home that night however the car needed a new alternator so driving home in the dark wasn't an option. We had to add another room to our reservation. The staff offered to make us food even though the restaurant was closed. The next morning Allen drove my husband a few towns away to get an alternator that he would install that afternoon. It was late morning when they returned without the alternator because it had to be ordered and would be in around 2 PM. Since the car issue was putting a wrench in our plans we decided to add another day to our trip. Unfortunately, River's Edge B&B was booked for that night but the owner, Ann Marie was kind enough to help us find a place to stay. With help from the amazing people in this quant little town our sleeping arrangements were made for the night and with the promise that the car would be fixed later that day my son and I were now able to start our 3 day bike trip on the GAP.

It was pleasure to meet Ann Marie, she is a lovely, wonderful human being . Thank you so much for the clothes you let us used that night because our was left behind. Your place is a gem and your food was delicious. We loved it and will remember you for ever.

Spent a fabulous day hiking in Ohiopyle and came across this little gem. The food was fantastic, a great menu to choose from, couldn't ask for friendlier service and the venue itself was completely amazing. So much history!
