Hoss's Steak & Sea House

The servers are amazing!!!! The food could use some work. I've been an employee during college and a customer for 27+ years and the menu has plummeted.

Bring back the steaks and seafood or change the name! The only upside is their flat iron steak! It is so tender it made up for the loss of many of the other steaks and seafood choices.

The menu food we ordered was not that great. The real seller is the "salad" bar. Wish I would've checked it out before ordering. They have everything from nachos to ice cream to mac and cheese. Very fun.

I was just here and honestly my food was good, the few things that got me to actually write a review was my waitress and the host. I waited way too long for her to come out to come out to take my order and to bring the check, meanwhile I was sitting at a table where I could here my waitress talking on the phone, talking to I'm guessing is kitchen staff about completely unrelated things while I'm waiting for her to come ask me what I would like to order! I could understand chatting with coworkers during downtime but come on! She looked like I college student but if you are going to have a job where communication should be held, it should be with your customer not the boy in the kitchen. The host was on her phone the whole time and she was bent over the desk. It was awkward and inappropriate. I don't live in Somerset but I had hopes that this Hoss's would have been as good as the one in Richland. Other than my waitress and having to see a teenage girls butt bent over the desk texting on my way out, I had a fine night. My steak was cooked correctly and the salad bar was very neat for what seemed to be only two teenage girls controlling the area. I did have to ask what the white fluff was on the dessert side, but I was informed what it was. The garlic bread was top-notch and the rolls were nice and warm. Thank you.

Great food for the price. The salad and dessert bars are great. If you are looking for a fancy resturant this is not your place. If you want lots of good food at a reasonable price. You will love it. The kids menu is very good. The service was also very good and included the bar was also included with the kids menu. I have eaten at three different locations and they were all equally good. Dont forget to sample the fresh breads, they were all great but the rolls were my favorite.
