“Great! In the middle of no where kind of restaurant. It was nicely laid out with the bar separate from the restaurant. It had a beautiful banquet room. The staff was stretched a little thin, but were great. Only down side is you have a great carving station on a fairly decent budget, if you choose to go that way, but the young man on the carving station was always AWOL. Playing on his phone. The buffet was good, desserts had no freshly made items. Salad bar was fresh and well stocked. Two soups were a nice touch.”

“Cheryl's Pizza is an average stop. For the locals it is a nice clost spot to grab a bite for lunch. The hours are weird and the building is very small. The ice cream selection is small but they all taste good. The pizza tastes good, however the fried food options are usually overdone and taste like burger king fried things. Overall if Cheryl's is close it's a good stop for pizza and ice cream.”

“I'm always on the lookout for a good pizza shop, and I prefer finding little mom and pop shops and hole in the wall spots that offer their own unique styles of pizza. I was passing through Somerset County and found this little place called Rustic Mountain Pizza. I stopped in and met some of the nicest folks ever! I chatted with the owner, his daughter and 2 polite young boys playing outside who both told me thanks and have a nice day as I left. The pizza was really tasty, he makes his sauce on the sweeter side, so it's almost like dinner and desert all in one bite! The crust was AMAZING and it was baked to perfection with tons of oozy cheese stretching as I pulled off a slice. The pizza was huge, and I was shocked when he said gave me the price.....as a pizza that size goes for over $20 in my hometown!! I will definitely stop there again on my next trip through, as it's not often I find a DEELISH pizza with a sweet sauce, served to me by super friendly people that actually take the time to talk to you and make you feel welcome and appreciated. Thanks guys, the pizza was awesome! See you next time!!”

Staff tends to be knowledgeable about beer styles and make good personal /pairing recommendations. I’ve been to several events that they’ve catered and the food quality, variety, and presentation have been great! Food is great! I don’t eat meat, so I cannot comment on their staples (burgers, wings, barbecue) but they will modify sandwiches and dishes for me. If it’s summertime try the deep fried sweet corn on the cob. Seriously. Try it.”

“It seems to be very hit or miss. The food is usually really good, but the wait is almost not even worth it. Today, I ordered a grilled chicken salad and an order of bacon cheddar potato skins. it took almost 25 minutes for my order to come out, which would have been fine, but then there were 3 other people who ordered after I did and got their meals first. I was also a little disappointed when I saw that there were only 4 potato skins. I could have sworn there were 6 in the order the last few times I got them.”
