    I have been past this place for years and just thought it was just a "dive bar" , BUT it isn't! This was a Great place! Great food and great service. A Total Gem.

    We arrived late on a Friday night after everything in town had closed. Got a few beers and unfortunately the kitchen had closed as well. We chatted with the friendly people there and then one of the ladies across the bar noticed we were eating chips and pretzels because we hadn't had dinner. In Eagles Mere, you're pretty much out of luck as to finding anything nearby that will be open late so we were settling for chips and beer...

    Anyway, the lady who worked there came over, asked if she could make us a sandwich and went right back in the bar and made us the most delicious turkey sandwich we've ever eaten!

    It's those fun and friendly moments where you get to connect with strangers on your travels that make the memories!
