    I have been in here and never had a probably the food is awesome here you should try it's really great

    Shaffer Bar-B-Q is just getting started. The owner has been cooking and selling delicious foods at fairs and has decided to open a sandwich shop here in New Milford. The place isn't much to look at right now as it's still a work in progress but the food is great.

    I ordered a chicken spiedie sub with cheese and mushrooms. The sandwich was toasty, tasty and quickly eaten. Next day I ordered a BBQ sub with cole slaw and potato salad which was also very good.

    Right now, he is only set up for take-out. If you're on the road and looking for something other than the regular fast-food fare, give this place a try!
