What a hidden gem we found after a weekend of fall foliage site seeing! fantastic cafe and bakery! food was AMAZING, serving size AMAZING and staff so kind! please, this is a must try cafe! our group of 4 enjoyed the food and atmosphere! We also bought bakery items made in house and will taste when we are not so full! make sure you stop!

Had a wonderful lunch with my mom and husband. The cafe is adorable and the food is awesome. I had the chicken tender platter which was delicious. We all had the French fries that were absolutely the best ever. Love this restaurant and the server was just wonderful. The food came out all together and hot. Thank you for a great lunch I didn't have to cook.

Seems like a great breakfast or brunch place. The food was actually good and was served in decent sized portions even with lower prices. The staff was nice as well. If I were ever to be back in town I would eat here again absolutely.

This is the former Blockhouse Cafe location reimagined under new owners & with a bakery. Love the updates to the decor. They have only been open a few weeks & have some things to sort out. The air conditioning was not cooperating on a hot day, the fryer wasn't working, so no french fries, & they were out of potato salad, my second choice of side. No one seemed sure of what some of the baked goods were. (Hence only 4 stars in food category) However, the burger I had was dressed well & cooked to perfection. My 3rd choice macaroni salad side was good, & dill pickle nice & garlicky. Blueberry pie was delicious. Prices are very reasonable & portions just right. Most impressive was the woman & two young men working. They were very calm & professional even though things weren't going quite right. I would have been a wreck, so kudos to them. Next day my husband took my Dad & brother-in-law here for breakfast & everyone enjoyed it. We all will be repeat customers.
