I LOVE the Roadside Bistro! they have one of the more fun and creative menus in the area, their "regular" menu and then a menu that they rotate monthly, with such clever ideas. In summer, you can't miss their lobster rolls. In September, I was addicted to their shrimp po' boy sandwiches. Everything is delicious, cooked to order, and priced right. Their fries are great, too. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and a good serving size. Their sign can be hard to see from the road, but they are across the street from the Dollar General. They have some picnic tables for outdoor seating, and a port-a-potty is available on premises, too.
Newfoundland is barely a blip on the radar in the Poconos, but it's a great little area and the Roadside Bistro is a place you have to check out.
