Very surprised at how good and hot the food was. I have heard from the locals that they were unhappy with this place. So I checked it out for myself. I had the chicken fried with eggs, hash browns and pancakes. Wow, it was good. And I'm not a coffee drinker, my daughter said it was good. She was right, enjoyable. Will definitely update later on there lunch and dinner. Hours of operation was surprising. 6 to 10 Monday to Thursday, and 6 to 12 Friday to Sunday. Being that their right off the interstate, you'd think with the truckers it would be open 24/7.

Not bad overall. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was good. My only complaint was the menu. To be fair, IHOP is not known for health food. But to get a western omelette I had to build it. The other choices were too high in calories for me. Also I think $14.53 plus tip is a bit much for an omelette served with a fruit cup and a cup of coffee. I really miss the Liberty Diner in downtown Lake Ariel.

    EDIT:
***Revisited here today, 1/19, and all staff were super nice and friendly and service was much more organized. Definitely appears they've made giant strides in getting kinks out from what they were going through on opening day. Got to meet Frank, the manager, who was ultra courteous and professional; a real pleasure to talk to. My only suggestion at this point is to get rid of the beer fridges. This is a family restaurant. Make a kids' party room in that section instead, even if you have to expand it a little more.***

Couldn't wait for this place to open. I've been living up here for 17 years and have eaten at many IHOP locations in NY and loved them all. Now about this place.

We went opening day but came around dinner time and still waited over 20 minutes for a table. When we gave our server our order, which was a simple eggs/bacon/pancakes order, we waited about 40 minutes for food to arrive to our table. Being that their current promo is all you can eat pancakes it took 20 minutes for each SMALL stack to arrive and were always cold. I understand it was their first day but it needs to step up and get rid of the bugs.

We went second day and it was great. Yummy and friendly! Sure, it was busy and looks like everyone is still learning, but they are doing good!
Very nice looking place, much better than the old diner there.
IHOP food is great, we will be back.
