Dominick's BBQ- A Local BBQ Joint!

Adorable little shack off the side of the road(like behind DQ). The Mac&cheese is so creamy and awesome. I bought the Pulled pork sandwich for my husband with the Carolina BBQ sauce. He was pleased with the pulled pork however needed more sauce. I look forward to going back, but their season ended August 30th.

Really great food with lots of outdoor seating. The chicken wouldn't stay on the bone and the mac and cheese was deliciously gooey and cheesy (seriously I was so full but I couldn't stop eating that mac and cheese ????). We ordered a three meat combo meal that was priced really well for everything you got with it, and it was ready super quick. The condiment bar was well stocked with lots of sauces and wet naps. All in all a great experience!

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The meats are tender and flavorful. The vinegar sauce is just as good as any NC sauce. The slaw and mac & cheese are great. The regular and spicy sauces, as well as the beans, were not for me, but that is just a matter of taste and not quality. I will definitely go back.

Reading an older review, I have to wonder what in the heck some people are looking for in a BBQ place? Proper straws and placement of forks and special chairs, or the best dang food they can find? Me, I'm after excellent brisket, tender pulled pork, and great tasting sides, plus a special order burger they were kind enough to make me a couple of times....and Dominick's delivers that, every single time we visit. I only wish they were open all year; I know this community would support their business but I understand taking some time off, you lucky folks. It just makes the day they re-open that much better! Thanks and we'll be in soon for more great food!
