Shrader’s Dairy Queen

So I've been a loyal Shrader's customer from childhood when I lived in Jeannette and Oakford Park Pool was still open. Nothing was better than risking life and limb while walking along 130 just to get an ice cream. Somehow it seemed so much hotter then.

I always tell my kids about Oakford and they hate me for it. I guess it makes no sense to them how a field of weeds was once the best pool that ever existed. But I still have Shrader's tales and they have to listen or no ice cream.

I live in Florida and when I visit I like to come here with my parents they used to come here when they were kids. Its small and sentimental cute place to take your kids and the new worker Joe was wonderful and nice, don't get rid of him!!!! I didn't take any pictures of the place but I did take a picture of the nice creek behind it very pretty to look at while you eat your ice cream.

Best DQ around. They always make the best blizzards and customer service is always friendly!

My husband and I used the drive thru service a few minutes before close and our order was complicated. Maddie took our order and was super pleasant. Not even a little annoyed at all of our special requests, especially since they were so close to closing time. All of the ladies there were so friendly and upbeat. Our order was perfect and it really means a lot when the service is outstanding ❤️ Thank u all!
