We have made a few visits, food and service have been consistent. That being said, you need to be patient. Everything is made fresh, and that takes time. The payoff is delicious food and yummy ice cream. Hopefully this place will be around for a long time. Give it a try!
We were in the area and wanted to try a local place for lunch. Some places were closed for Memorial Day but this place was open. The first thing I noticed was the amazing smell of melted butter. We were surprised by the variety of food options. We ended up ordering a couple of pretzel wraps, a pizza and a pretzel dog. Everything was delicious. Their pretzels were soft, buttery and slightly sweet. Their ice cream was equally amazing. Staff was great and friendly. We will definitely have to stop back in next time we're in the area.
Cute place, good food, but confused and slow service. ????♀️
There were 3 people working behind the counter but only one woman was taking orders and making food. She was nice enough but she kept forgetting my simple order (just a pretzel and a smoothie) and eventually charged me for the wrong size smoothie and *2* pretzels even though I repeated myself several times. She also seemed a little out of it and took the people in line after me first because I had moved to the side to let another customer through. It felt like the wait in line and the wait for food was forever, but the smoothie was delicious and the pretzels were on the upper end of decent.
The food here is excellent! I got the 4 meat pretzel pizza and my wife got the Chicken Pesto pretzel pizza! Both tasted great and were baked with a perfectly crispy crust. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Atmosphere is cozy and the restaurant was very clean and organized. The milkshakes and ice cream for dessert are decadent!
I gave it a few visits before writing a review. The ice cream prices are absolutely outrageous, and they really skimp on scoop size and topping quantity. The pretzels are dry.
The employees are nice but you definitely get the feeling they're only nice because they have to be. Even though I was there first, they took a family ahead of me to order food while I got ice cream, and it took an eternity for their order to be entered, while I stood there eating almost my entire cone by the time I paid for my order (so much for sitting down and relaxing with a snack). Shakes and splits take an immense amount of time to be made.
The place is clean.
