Kusinang Pinoy at The Markets at Hanover

My husband and I have been wanting to try this for awhile and it did not disappoint! We ordered it to go and got a few things to try. Everything was hot and delicious! Our 5 year old loved the pork belly, lumpia and the oreos they included. Can't wait to come back and try more.

Kusinang Pinoy lives up to Filipino home cooking and feels like stopping at a friend's place. Their Dinuguan is a subtle variation that elevates the essence of this dish. Pandesal fresh out of the oven is perfect. The Leche Flan is sized for sharing.

Lumpia was made to order. It was FRESH and crispy! (These are similar to egg rolls but slimmer.) I dipped it in the sweet and sour sauce. The picture online showed 4 in an order, but it came with more.

I finally got to go here last Thursday for lunch and I loved it!! I am from the Philippines and have hoped for a Filipino restaurant to open near me. Yay!!

I ordered TOCINO (pronounced- toh see noh; & theirs is homemade) with garlic rice - this is one of my favorite breakfast foods back home but the way they make it (& the portions) it could easily be a lunch / dinner item.

I also ordered the Nilagang Baka (which is the ox tail stew) and it was so delicious 😭😭😭

Ate Jenny blessed me with some homemade Pan De Sal and Tupid she made.. and it was so good!!

All of the dish portions were huge so for all this I had enough for lunch, to feed a friend of mine for dinner anddd lunch the next day 🤣

I stopped in right before closing on Saturday with my daughter. I’m Filipino and it felt just like home. I’m so happy I don’t need to drive into Maryland for good Filipino food. The food was great and the service was even better. You were so kind to my daughter giving her some Sky Flakes. I hope that your business prospers and I wish the halo halo had a larger size. It was so good.
