New China Restaurant

A neighborhood staple for years, turning out very respectable versions of classic Chinese dishes, and rewarding those who venture from the tried and true staples to sample some of the more special items on the extensive menu.
I'm particularly partial to the tofu with vegetables in a (by request) hot and spicy sauce, the house special lo mein is packed with shrimp, succulent pork and vegetables is always good too. General Tso's chicken can occasionally suffer from a little too much breading but retains great flavor. Hot and sour soup and several versions of fried rice are satisfying as well.
The space is clean and functional if not dazzling in decor with the staff businesslike and generally efficient.
It must be said that in my experience the food has kicked up a few notches in the last year or so, making New China a welcome presence in our small-town dining scene.

I rate this restaurant EXCELLENT for this type of food...The flavors of the spices are SPOT ON....

and over the years I have tried many choices also they had many cooks...THE FACT THAT WHATEVER YOU ORDER WILL BE WHAT IT IS...Great Family still making the best....

Had to give another review. This place is very deserving of it. Service was absolutely astounding. The fried rice was rich with flavor and cooked to perfection. It’s my favorite item on the menu and I would recommend to anyone.

Pleasing service. Pleasant atmosphere. The ambience in the facility was quite preferable. Food met my expectations and exceeded them. Would highly recommend.

Amazing service! The food tasted amazing and the waiters and owners were friendly. Definitely recommend asking for Vincent serve you. He was awesome. Definitely recommend and I would so go here again.
