Dave's Hot Chicken

Stopped by today for lunch! Our food was delicious! Service was quick. The food was hot. Order was exactly what we ordered. Family of four and we all liked it! Had the sliders! I would call them a sandwich and not a slider! No worries had lunch and dinner! We will be back!

A sparkling new restaurant with smiling employees and customers lining up to get in… What’s there not to love about this place? I got the extra hot chicken slider with fries… It was awesome!! I will be back.

We went through drive through. The line was a little long, but it went pretty fast. The lady outside taking orders was very sweet as well as everyone else. I ordered the slider meal with fries, and of course had to get cheese on everything, hubby ordered the double Sliders with fries and cheese medium spice level. I'm a spice person and I got reaper. Didn't realize you had to sign a waiver, and I'm thinking to myself, whatd I get myself into 🤣. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Cleared my sinuses a bit though. I added honey to my chicken and it really intensified the flavor, with or without, it was still very good. Everything was well seasoned. Even with the cheese, sauce and coleslaw, the chicken was still crispy and delicious. It was what we have been dreaming about. We will be back again, and probably many times after that 🤣. I'm so happy you brought Dave's hot chicken to york county.

Came here yesterday to give it a try and to see what all of the hype was about. Sat in line for an hour, which was definitely expected. Two people got the chicken sliders, one no heat, one medium heat. And I got the chicken tenders. My son loved the no heat chicken slider and m gave it a 10/10 and wants to go back again. Myself and his dad, we’re not impressed. The chicken smelled and tasted like it was seasoned with taco seasonings. Strangest thing ever. That is probably just how Dave’s is, but we didn’t care for it. I tried eating my leftovers for lunch today, and it’s even worse.
The restaurant seemed clean from what we could tell. We loved the graffiti. Everyone we talked to there was very nice and helpful. If you love Dave’s hot chicken then this place if for you. Sadly, it’s just not for me.

I finally was able to swing by Dave's Hot Chicken. It took me about 45 minutes to get to order because it is still "opening week" and it seems like all of York County wants to try it out.

So does it live up to the buzz? Yep. I ordered 2 sliders, one hot and one medium and both were delicious. The hot was just hot enough, it gave a nice burn but didn't hurt my mouth, I image a couple notches up would be pretty hot.
The fries were also amazing, crinkle cut and crispy. The Mac and Cheese was just average, nothing more than your average Kraft Deluxe, so I'll be skipping that next time. The menu is limited (and people STILL took forever to order lol), but it plays to the place's strengths. It's kind of a shame that the meals don't come with drinks. Overall the place exceeded my expectations & it is a welcome establishment in this area.
