Foglia

We had a great culinary experience at Foglia. The food was excellent, great presentation and flavor. Our server and the manager were very kind and attentive. We already look forward to our next visit. We highly recommend Foglia for some delicious plant based dishes, not to miss!

Fantastic new addition to the area. Foglia replaced the old Statesman Tavern, and the layout is relatively unchanged, but decor has been modernized and brightened up significantly.

The menu is phenomenal, and whether you’re a grizzled vegan or a cautious plant eater you’ll have a great dinner. We had the snack board (lovely selection of pickled and preserved seasonal veg, sauces, house chips and focaccia), the panisee (chick pea fries), and the fried squash blossoms (our favorite), and there was nothing we didn’t love. Everything was fresh, seasonal, and skillfully prepared… and the chef has thoroughly considered nut and gluten sensitivities.

The wine menu was short, but very interesting. Lots of smart pairings. The menu doesn’t mention it, but they’re well stocked for cocktails too.

The space indoors is small, so be sure to reserve a spot before you arrive, and expect things to be a bit loud. If you book outdoors, you’ll be on the sidewalk patio which is lovely in the summer evenings.

We’ll definitely be back.

I have one friend who’s got a nut allergy and another who has a gluten allergy, so finding a place for all three of us to eat is always challenging. Foglia is fantastic for anyone of any dietary lifestyle! The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was lovely! I can’t wait to go back again soon!

The food is incredibly good and the service delightful. One of the best dinners we have had in years! Don't miss this new gem in Bristol. The menu changes weekly and is always based on the freshest ingredients available. Chef Peter Carvelli’s creative flavors are unmatched in our book. Terrific!

Absolutely fantastic time, Chef Pete and Linda have made an extremely welcoming space, staff were great, food was unbelievable a dining experience not to be missed. Travelled down from Boston and will do so regularly, most definitely worth it! Chef Pete came out to ensure we were happy, a really nice touch.
