The best thai food that I have ever had, hands down. The owners are a nice family, and they were very attentive and welcoming. I started off with thai iced tea with tapioca bubbles and it was amazing. Then came an appetizer; the scallion pancakes were crisp and solid tasting. I tried the ginger pork, chicken pad se ew, and tofu drunken noodles while sharing with others in my group. They were all so delicious and full of strong flavor! All of it tasted homemade and nothing felt like it was from a mix or a can, everything was very fresh. There was plenty of food and the prices were reasonable. Tong phoon is the best thai restaurant in Rhode Island and I'll definitely be going back!

Hands down the best Thai I’ve ever had. Easter Sunday 2019, my RWU-attending son and I were the only people in the place at opening. Phenomenal appetizers (snow bags, and spicy calamari, both super fresh local seafood). My son’s drunken noodles were, again, the best he’s had, and my sizzling pork, with ginger, basil, and house marinated clusters of fresh green peppercorns, can’t be described in words. Unfortunately the wonderful mom and pops with the best food, are almost always outcompeted by larger Americanized establishments, where I’ve lived anyway.

The food is always great no matter what I order, and the service is phenomenal. Really nice people there. Cool little spot in downtown Bristol and it’s BYOB!!!
