“New to the area, we found this saloon while driving through Bristol after hiking in Colt State Park. We had lunch in the first floor bar area, where we scored a corner table w/ a water view. I enjoyed the Bourbon Blackberry Smash, off the list of craft cocktails, which was the perfect ending to a chilly hike. My husband enjoyed his favorite IPA. We shared a Goat Cheese Salad and the Mushroom Burger . The salad was very fresh with a delicious, light dressing The goat cheese was lightly breaded and nicely grilled. The Mushroom burger went on the list of all time best burgers. Moist, with great flavor, and a perfect size bun. ( I'm craving another) The crispy homemade fries were perfectly cut and cooked. Service was slightly slow, but pleasant. We were not in a hurry so we did not mind it. Bottom line, decently priced gourmet bar food, in a pleasant setting. We will definitely return.”

“Drinks, very good seafood and a view of the bay. You really cannot get much better than that. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Very good experience as always. I screwed up the reservations and mistakenly made them for the the next day. No problem. We were put on a waiting list so we walked over to our favorite watering hole, Thames Waterside and had some cocktails. We received a text when our table was ready and made our way over. It was a great night.”

“The setting of this bar is right out the colonial period. Stone and beam construction give this a feel unlike anything we have in the West Coast. Food was pretty good and the beers came cold and reasonably priced. Great place for a quick beer - maybe not the best for a quick bite. Went back several times when the other local bars were full.”

“Great waterside restaurant. They have covered outdoor seating very close to the channel. Last time I was there a 40' sailboat tacked right in front of us. They have a great menu with well prepared food and drinks. There is a small bar inside with views through French doors to the water as well. They have a roof deck which is nice as well in the right night.”

“Great old school breakfast diner! Pictures of classic cars and 50's ads line the walls. Regular breakfast spot for locals and it can get busy on the weekends. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. They accept credit cards which is a bonus too. My kids love their pancakes and french toast.”
