Amaral's Fish & Chips

Best clam cakes and tartar sauce ever! Fish n chips are great too but you have to eat there. If you get it to go it is always soggy by the time you eat it and I only live 5 minutes away. But eat there and its always amazing. Also prices are good people are frienldy and service is quick even though everything is made to order.

They have the BEST clam chowder and clam cakes plus fish and chips. Everything is delicious. It's small but BIG on flavor

I shared a Super Platter with my wife. This included shrimp, clams, scallops and fish with fries and Cole slaw. Everything was delicious! Cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly. The next time I have a hankering for fried seafood Amaral's will be at the top of the list.

Probably the best seafood we've had in a long time in Rhode island. The location is owned by a few brothers and they run it like a family friendly spot. However they run it very professionally and very efficiently. very cozy environment and there were all kinds of customers there. We ordered the clam chowder and the fish and chips. but it was so good we also ordered a side of coleslaw and a side of clam cakes. We just kept eating the food was amazing. Not a spot for vegetarians unless you like just eating coleslaw or fries. The fries were incredibly fresh and look like they don't use the same oil over and over again like a lot of places.

BEST Natural Chowder and clam cakes you'll find! No matter where else we order those 2 items it always comes down to "How soon can we get back to Amaral's. Super Platter excellent sampler: scallops can't be matched - clams wonderful, shrimp - don't let anybody else take yours! And white fish is great! Quick service eat-in or take-out. Been coming here close to 40 years - wishing all of you the same!
