    Waiter was attentive. Hostess was nice. I had the duck tacos which were really good. Very messy to eat tho. I will be back.

    Seriously love this place, but their food often seems to have a "fear of commitment"; as in committing to a single flavor. Take the roasted bone marrow; it isn't allowed to just be itself. It was served with a variety of ingredients on and around it in (inexplicably) a sauce. Marrow doesn't need adornment. This is what happens when you add complexity to something so simple.

    One of the best meals I've had in the region. Lots of big flavors and inventive dishes perfectly executed. Bywater is a hidden gem. Great apps. Great drinks. Great desserts. And perfect entrees. Really a great experience.
