The Taco Box

Really great fresh food! Solid portions... expect to leave with a happy full belly!!!

We went for the first time this past weekend, and I’m going to become a regular! We had the Carne Asado and Shredded Chicken tacos, and the Street Corn bowl. Everything had incredible flavor, and I loved the vibe of the Taco Box! Keep doing what you’re doing!

Ok. So it's a little hard to see from Child St but just park near Del's and look across that side street. Now, for the food: Holy heck good! The taco shell is more like a pizza dough, a traditional Navajo style taco. I got the chicken and my bf got the steak specials. The meats were awesome. $8for one but it's like 9in in diameter and packed so it fills you up. The brick oven is a nice touch.

Run, don't walk to The Taco Box! I just ate there for the first time and it was fantastic. The little trailer is next to the East Bay bike path and Matt is not making traditional tacos, but rather, taco pizzas made in a wood burning oven next to the trailer. The homemade dough comes out crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. Order their recommended tacos or make your own. They have outdoor seating with little tables and picnic tables. Pro tip, the tacos are huge and filling, so one should be enough for lunch or dinner. As the great Austrian philosopher, Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, "I'll be back."

Delicious! Never had anything like it. Awesome idea in a good location.

The tortilla is fresh made and cooked to order and you can pick your fillings or go with the house combinations. Everything we got was delicious and served up quick. Stop by and check it out.
