Eleven Forty Nine

Pizza was delicious but the meatloaf wrapped in bacon was dry. Whipped potato was not very whipped. Service was great.

We attended a function at 1149. There was a appetizer table set up with great cheeses, crackers and fruit. The food was a self serve buffet and the food was delicious, unfortunately, someone didn't realize more food needed to be brought out. My husband and I shared the last piece of fish, there was no chicken left..other people were waiting for food and we're told more would be brought out, but it took a little while. We didn't bother to go back up to the buffet. A cake was cut for dessert, if anyone wanted a piece, it was up to them to go get it. There were 2 bartenders making drinks, possibly 2 young men clearing plates off the tables As I said the food was delicious, I don't know what arrangements were made for service at the function, I thought having 2 bartenders was adaquate, there were no one taking drink orders, so it was strickly purchasing and ordering drinks at the bar. There may have been someone who asked if anyone at the table would like coffee. I was a bit disappointed that such a fine restaurant lacked some in the service provided. I think the worst aspect was that the two protein offerings ran out and they weren't ready to refill those chafing dishes within a short period of time.

Affluent but low key. Extremely nicer inside than you expected after driving by for the the tenth time. Response a little slow at the hostess stand but immediately an afterthought with the service once it picked up. Beautiful presentation on all dishes both appetizer and entree. A must if staying close by.

The food is unbelievable! We had our rehearsal dinner here and the private room was perfect. The space is beautiful and the food was great. Would definitely recommend for dinner or a private function!

Eleven Forth Nine struck gold with their location. It's directly off of exit 8A on RT4, and close to Bald Hill road, so finding it is easy. The restaurants decor is up beat, yet the lighting sets the stage for an intimate and even romantic atmosphere. The menu's variety is decent, but the quality of food takes the spotlight. Especially the calamari. This is a good restaurant if you're on a first date and wants to impress someone, or it's good for the family as well. Just be prepared to spend a little extra!
