Finn's Harborside

Mixed feelings. It was a cool place to eat with a nice view of the water. Arrived at five and was seated almost right away. The wait for food was another story, it took nearly an hour and a half to be served. The food tasted good but the fish I ordered was drowning in butter. Our waitress rarely came by, perhaps understaffed. After waiting almost 20 minutes for her to come and take our card we ended up paying with cash and left.

We enjoyed eating right next to the marina with the windows/walls opened up. I'm not a local, so I tried my first lobster roll and liked it a lot. Great New England chowder, too (and they also serve Manhattan and Rhode Island). Fast and friendly service.

Rustic restaurant on the harbour. Food was excellent. Rudy the bartender/server was friendly and helpful with the menu. Talk to Carol the owner. Was extremely helpful with our rehearsal dinner search. Loved the upstairs area. Our first trip to this area of Rhode Island was a pleasant surprise.

I visited Finn’s last evening, unfortunately I ordered the fried clams. The meal was terrible, it appeared the clams & fries were cooked in old grease and were over cooked! Not an enjoyable meal.
I expected better from a restaurant that advertises as a seafood restaurant.
On a previous visit, I ordered the mini lobster roll and chowder and the meal was very good.
The atmosphere is very nice, we sat by the water which was beautiful. The wait staff were very pleasant as well as the parking attendant.
