Tavern in The Square

First time here. Very nice bar and seating section.The wife's meal with Salmon was great. I made the error and ordered a chicken dinner but it was chicken in a roll as a sandwich. We had chicken wings as an appetizer and they were very good. I wasn't in the mood for a sandwich so the server took it away. Within a minute one of the managers was at our table wanting to make another meal and offered a dessert. This type of attention is excellent and we will return and just read the details more closely. Again my error about the chicken.
They are bound to be very successful trying to correct something I ordered wrong. They removed my dinner from the bill which I did not expect to be done.

Love this new location. The price is well worth it considering the generous portion sizes and quality of the meal. Everyone is very kind from when you walk in to sitting at the table. The Bayou Chicken Pasta is amazing!!! The drinks are great, as well

We love the new location! Super clean and service was amazing. Our server Devon was great, he recommended a few awesome selections and was super nice. We’ll definitely be back (the cookie skillet was awesome too!)

We were delighted to have dinner at the new location of Tavern in The Square in East Greenwich. The staff was excellent - pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I realize it was only the second day the restaurant was open so - not only kudos to the staff - but to the excellent role of management. The food was as great as their Garden City restaurant - so the chefs in EG are keeping up the Tavern's excellent culinary reputation.
We will definitely be back.. often.

This location hasn’t opened yet but it looks like the best one I’ve seen. They’ve got a large convertible patio in the front that looks like it will be great during the summer, either to sit “outside” or just to get a lot of fresh air moving through. Besides that, the inside looks like most other Tavern in the Squares.

Website says it will open in the spring. As of late February, they have signs up to indicate they are hiring for all positions.
