Worth the wait! Had about a 15/20 minute wait and parking in the back was a slight pain...Type of spot where you put the order in out side and given a beeper for when your food is ready. Honestly we got a bit of everything and it came to about $45 and we left full and happier than when we walked in. The decor was awesome as it had a super beach vibe to it! Staff was great even during the heat wave that brought the temps to around 104!! The views are awesome definitely check it out ????
Food is pretty good here. Great location right by the water with second floor deck seating looking right out to the beach. Nice raw bar at the second floor too. I got chowder and clam cakes. I didn't think the white chowder was the best. I like Iggy's white clam chowder much better.
Visited as a tourist and exactly what I was looking for. It was a great place to bring my family while traveling. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was unforgettable. The name did not disappoint. It is possibly the cutest restaurant I've been in. A true shack. Parking was rough, the back parking lot fits around 10 cars and i was in a large rental SUV.
The seafood is definitely fresh! The price is pretty steep for the portion size. We ordered fried clams, fried scallops, fried clam strips, 2 cups of clam chowder, 2 cans of soda and a bottle of water. The total came to $79! I would have been able to stomach this if the portion size was larger. I love seafood so I have dined at many seafood places so I know a reasonable portion size when I see it. Just saying ...???? (FYI: The pics don't depict the actual portion size. I ate a couple clams before I took the pics.) Flo's is located right across the street from the beach so we took a nice walk after our meal.
Fresh, delicious seafood. Those 3 words say it all. The only reason I didn't rate it 5* is the process of ordering and getting a table can be a little confusing for first timers. Friendly, helpful wait staff. The decor is just what you would expect a "clam shack" should be, and the view from the upstairs dining area and deck is spectacular. If you haven't been there, I guarantee your first time will not be your last!
