Very clean, modern style. Large rooms with comfy beds. AC works well. Bathroom is not very private with non locking barn style doors and frosted glass. The coffee in the restaurant is not very good, not enough coffee taste. I would stay again since it's so close to Newport.
This property is newly renovated and has very nice rooms. The hotel and restaurant staff were nice and helpful. It's conveniently located near Easton Beach and few minutes apart from the Newport downtown. There's an indoor swimming pool and several chairs to relax near poolside. There were 2 weddings hosted in this hotel during our 3 nights stay. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.
I had visited for 3 days for my summer vacation in Newport. As I checked in everyone was very friendly and the lobby was very clean. When I got to my room on the top floor I saw that it was pristine. The king sized beds were large and very comfortable and the bathroom was surprisingly nice. Being on the top floor, I had a great view of the Green End Pond across the street. The food they had was alright, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't that big of a deal with the hotel being close to many great restaurants. With the hotel not being that busy, there was plenty of space outside to just sit back and relax on a beautiful summer's day. The indoor pool was fine, you can't really go wrong. The hotel is in a great location being so close to many attractions in Newport. Some of the places I had visited during my stay was the cliff walk, the Breakers mansion, the harbor, and the Newport car museum, all of which I would highly recommend you visit if you come to Newport. Wyndam is a great hotel with friendly staff, clean and large rooms, plenty of things to do around the hotel, and it's a good price. Out of all the hotels I have stayed at, this has been one of the better ones.
Great hotel. Has indoor/outdoor saltwater pool. The restaurant has some great food ie. The lobster Mac and cheese and any of the club sandwiches. Bath and body works toiletries is a plus. King size double bed rooms feels really comfortable and spacious.
I stayed in a room with a king size bed, Booking.com listed it as $637 for 4 nights, and with fees it came out to just under $800 dollars. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good quality and the pillows were nice and squishy. They must have used something to lightly scent their linens, but it worked really well and I enjoyed it. The front desk people were nice and helpful, and there were free cookies on more than one occasion. I had a great time, and would stay there again!
