Circe Restaurant & Bar - Providence

My fiancé and I stopped in after touring a nearby wedding venue. Neither one of us had been to Circe before and we will be back again, that is for certain! Jessica was our waitress and she took awesome care of us. The drinks were good. The oysters were delicious as well. But dinner was a knockout... they had a salmon special the night we were there (Tuesday night) and it was served over a bed of lobster mashed potatoes (huge chunks of knuckles and claws) and spinach, and to top it off were two of the best poached shrimp of my life. We were blown away by the taste/quality of the meal. I would recommend to anyone in down city Providence!

Great menu, creative options and quality ingredients. I was actually very surprised to have such good food in such a cool environment. The bar is a very trendy and happening spot to enjoy a few cocktails and one of the nicer places to enjoy good music, food and drinks in Providence.

Had the lamb lollipops, the braised short rib and the chocolate sampler dessert. All of it was incredible, service was great and we loved the vibes of the place. Will definitely be going back to try more items from the menu!

We had the three course restaurant week menu and overall loved it! The Burrata appetizer was amazing with fresh deep flavors with tomato and mozzarella. Calamari was also delicious but wish it was a bit more spicy and crunchy. Our entrees were overall delicious- we got bacon tenderloin which was moist and the short rib was cooked wonderful.

So happy to have found this place. It doesn't look like much from the outside but wow, what a difference inside. Nice place for a date. Food was fresh and delicious. They had some wine specials that were priced fairly. Definitely returning.
