    I finally found a great soul food resteraurant in Rhode Island. There are others but they don't compare to this small venue called Geegees in the heart of Onleyville Square in Providence The food was excellent. The wait time was minimal. I will be returning with others to try new items on the menu. I will take pics on my return visit.

    I had the amazing opportunity to try Geegees Southern Cuisine at the opening for the Rhode Island Black Film Festival. The collard greens, mac & cheese and fried chicken were so delicious and the service was excellent. Thank you. I can't wait to visit their location on Plainfield St. In Providence.

    Little hole in the wall with great food. Waited a little while for it but it was worth it. My daughter loved her plate!!
