Sandwich Hut

The Sandwich Hut is a great place to stop in for a nice, handcrafted sandwich. The bread is always fresh, and the meatballs are awesome! I saw the Sandwich Hut on the Phantom Gourmet online, and I knew I had to try it. Needless to say I tried it out and I will be coming back!

This place is awesome! NEVER disappointed in their service, or food! Although at times it can get a bit busy but is well worth the wait! Try one of their daily sandwich specials...they are always phenomenal! And they deliver and cater events of all sizes to...Sandwich Hutbhas been in business for almost 40 years...and I have a feeling they won't be going anywhere anytime soon. If you do go into the shop check out their tables...there are full of previous customer reviews and memories of The Sandwich Hut handwritten by all those who love the place as much as I do...

First I will say the all Italian is a great sandwich! However, they just can’t get an order correct. The last two orders go like this. I call, place my order : All-Italian no pickles, xtra hot peppers, Turkey club w/cheese xtra lettuce, tomatoes,mayo. I ask them to read it back so there is no miscommunication. Done and all would seem great. Nope. All Italian has no pickles or hot peppers. Turkey is just that, not a Turkey club. My husband said he went in to get the order as it was being made, and a trainee was making our sandwiches. Hence the screw up. Now A week or so later he goes in to order ( because when you call to place your order it’s almost like they get it wrong on purpose). He orders our same order and brings it home. That All Italian has abundance of pickles! I do like pickles and so does he but, not these pickles! Once the pickles and their juice are on the sandwich it is ruined! It appears from the order taker to sandwich maker the lines are crossed and wrong orders are the norm. This is nothing new it always the same I don’t bother to complain because after years of CANT SEEM TO GET IT RIGHT, IVE GIVEN UP. ALWAYS THE SAME REPLY ....OH GEE SORRY ABOUT THAT. If they get our orders wrong continuously, how many others have this same problem?

Ah, Sandwich Hut. The diamond in the rough. How many hundreds of dollars I must have spent here by now on their excellent, fresh sandwiches. Music in the shop is always a perfect jam, staff always does a great job balancing a long line and delivers high quality food every time.

Everything was very fresh including the bread. Friendly atmosphere. It's a sandwich shop! Definitely one of the better ones.
