“I found this place fun and the band was excellent. This particular night I went they had a reggae band in from Boston. Although they did start late after 10:00 they sounded fantastic. They saying a lot of Bob Marley tunes that the average person doesn't hear which was nice. And also saying a couple of songs that everybody knew. From what I gathered listening to what other people were saying they do have many good groups in there. And apparently an open mic but I'm not sure when that is.”

“We got their menu in the mail. First thing we tried were the Po Boy sandwiches..Mine was the Haddock the other was shrimp. Both were very good and I was excited to see Haddock on the menu. We also got the crab bites and hush puppies. Both were very good! The second time we ordered ordered the combo shrimp, crayfish and crab with butter garlic sauce. It was fantastic. The only issue is when you order this to go you should include claw crackers it was hard to open the crab. We also got the garlic noodles that was excellent! Also you might want to think about offering corn bread for all that excellent sauce! You have made regulars out of us! We are fans of seafood and New Orleans style food!”

“Classic diner with good breakfast food, satisfying coffee, and fair prices. It’s bigger than it looks. There’s several seating areas: the front being a very traditional diner layout, the back more of a restaurant feel, and outdoor seating weather permitting. Parking may be tough. Service is hit or miss, and they’re usually pretty busy. Their menu is more extensive than most diners nearby though. All in all a good brunch spot.”

“Teddy is owner and cook. He and the staff are very attentive and great service. Food is served hot and fresh. Not sure of previous inside photos are of same restaurant. Note my rating is adjusted to "greasy spoon" local fair. Its not Galatoire in New Orleans by any stretch of the imagination. Neighborhood is a bit rough but I felt safe. The restaurant filled up quickly with locals after opening, which is a good sign. I'd come back if in Providence again.”

Apple whiskey with cider was on special - just delicious! The bar is well stocked and included Japanese whiskey- another of my favorites. For the price its reasonable because if it was too low I'd question the quality. Great quantity sizes and consistent quality everytime, I love this place.”
