(June 18, 2019, 11:53 pm)The wait at the counter for an ice cream cone is always a bit long. I do love their peppermint stick ice cream so I'd give it a 4. I'm scoring this as an overall 3 because I can't stand it when one person is serving the counter and no one else will jump in to help wait on the line of people waiting their turn. I've been a server, bartender and short order cook so I know how restaurants operate. A Swiss chef I worked with always had a saying to staff: "Are you looking for your hands? They're in your pockets." That meant, get to work, help out!. To the manager - how about teaching your staff what that means?

(May 15, 2019, 2:59 pm)Points for nostalgia. This particular Newport Creamery is always busy, every night of the week. The food is very consistent. Sometimes they undercook their fries. Waitresses are always super friendly. Great place to take kids, just like my mom did for me.
