Kay's Restaurant

I went because of the reviews. The prices are good and the staff is great, very pleasant and attentive. But I was a little disappointed in the food, I don't I would go back.

The nostalgia in this place is incredible. I always think of stories my grandparents told me about how much fun this place was for them. I love to eat here and try to live in those moments. Steak sandwich is messy and bomb.

Whenever my sister from Maine comes to visit, we always go to Kay's. She loves the steak and cheese sandwich, while I like the lobster roll. Very relaxing atmosphere and even though the menu is limited to sandwiches, you are not going to find a better sandwich around.

What a wonderful surprise. When you first walk in, it looks like a fine restaurant, very classy. The lighting is low and intimate in the back and brighter in the front. We went just after lunch and the crowd was nice, a business luncheon, a girls afternoo lunch and a few couples dining while some regulars socialized at the bar. The atmosphere was great, the service was nice and the food was amazing. Their menu is limited to sandwiches which are creatively listed on their cocktail napkins, but they absolutely will not disappoint! I would call their prices average and we were very pleased. If you're looking for a nicer place for a simple yet satisfying meal, this would be a great option.
