“Beautiful, Lovely and refreshing. The front desk receptionist was absolutely amazing/wonderful you choose. We went to the farmers market (Wednesday and Saturday 9-11:30) and bought some fresh oyster and the front desk receptionist was very helpful. She took the oyster and came back with it on a lovely platter. You can't find service and or someone that is helpful often. Thank you for memorable weekend stay.”

“I’m glad they were open in the winter good place to have some food. Despite the limited selection (the food changes day to day) and the hours it was still worth it. The only let down was I could tell the chicken came from a one of the pre made bags you find in the refrigerated section. The rest of the ingredients in the bowl were fresh, we took all the toppings except what they were out of; cabbage and lettuce.”

“We went to the location with the big ice cream cones and the outdoor seating. For soem reason it doesn't shown up on Google. But it think they have a sister restaurant across the street. I had the cold lobster roll and It was amazing! I'd never had a lobster roll before and this one was worth the price. My mom had a bacon burger and fries and those were very great too! The staff is super friendly and the speed of the food was awesome too!”

“Amazing food! We got the chicken Philly and Marty. My husband and I loved our food so much, we traded each other the second half just to see if the other got just as good of a meal...and we did. My son got a pretzel dog and my mother got broccoli chowder soup. Honestly, the best food I've had in a long time and not that pricey. I believe we paid about 38 for everything.”

Over the years I think I have been turned away from getting sandwiches here about as many times as I have gotten them successfully. Seems odd for a business to turn away so much money, but there is likely something I don't understand going on. Perhaps the three sisters go to the beach at 2pm? ;-)”

“The National Hotel Tap and Grille is an excellent place to get great quality food and drinks. Everything we had here over the last weekend of the season was top notch. Outdoor seating on the balcony is the way to go for enjoying your meal with a view out over the harbor and ocean, not to mention people watching. Fantastic atmosphere and very good service at a price that is quite reasonable. Highly recommended!”

“I have been staying at the National twice a year for over 20 years. It is so magical going back in time with the beautiful decor. It is extremely clean and the property is well maintained. It is right on the water so you can hear the waves at night as you fall asleep. The staff is always friendly and available. Julie Fuller manager is so delightful, always making time to visit with guests. Looking forward to booking my next visit in June. Colleen White”
