The chain was started in April 1964 in Decatur, Georgia by John Sparks, with the goal of providing a 24-hour eatery. It is named after the act of huddling in football. The original Huddle House in Decatur was established to give fans a place to eat after "the big game" on Friday nights.
In 2006, Huddle House was acquired by Allied Capital. In 2009, Ares Capital acquired Allied Capital. In 2012, Ares sold Huddle House to Sentinel Capital Partners.

I didn't go (not sure why it popped up on my phone), but my family did, and they enjoyed it!
I LOVE eating here! It's not far from home and the staff make you feel like family! The food is great and I would definitely recommend it especially for those traveling on the interstate and want to stop in for food.
I love this place. But last time I went, there was a young hostess that seemed to be more interested in her boyfriend and friends than doing anything to help in the dining area. Our hostess was awesome, but she kind of had to take care of everyone which made service slow.
