Los Tres Compadres

I’ve been here several times. I make it a point to try something new every time! So far I love everything! Can’t wait to try the next new thing! Everyone makes me feel like family! No. 1 Mexican restaurant in Aiken! Love y’all!

We loved the restaurant in this spot before, Tequila’s, and were excited to try this one out. The staff here was very sociable and friendly and the sweet tea is strong and sweet. The chorizo queso was a personal favorite, not too greasy but very good and very strong. They have a big menu and probably the strongest thing on their menu is their tortas - big and yummy with a beautiful cross section. If I could have one complaint it’s that I wish the salsa was spicier, it is very mild, but that’s what the table side hot sauce is for.

My wife and I have had two meals at Los Tres Compadres. It is officially our new favorite Mexican restaurant. First off, we have met the three owners and they are friendly and personable young men. Second, the food is excellent. It is made from fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and served piping hot. The atmosphere is very nice with a true Mexican ambiance. Although it is not quiet it isn't noisy either, unlike many Mexican restaurants. It's actually a good place to have a conversation. Finally, the prices are reasonable.

Excellent service, excellent salsa, best I have had in SC. Great food, had Carnitas tacos they were awesome. 2nd time here and will return again.
