Mexican Restaurant Las Palmas

I FINALLY got into this family restaurant. No expectations other than wanting good authentic Tex-Mex/ Mexican foods. I recommend the carnitas (I had the tacos Mexican-style) and enjoyed the chicken empanadas. Too much food as always. The restaurant has an A rating and the service was good.

Tamales go out in the mornings / lunch, which is not unexpected.

Thanks Las Palmas for satisfying my need for Tex-Mex when I barely have time to make American style tacos. No real time for carnitas either.

Really nice, low-key Mexican restaurant with great, well priced food!

We had nachos with chicken and an al pastor chimichanga. The place is really small, around ten tables. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. The food was good, and they offered a lot more authentic dishes than you might find elsewhere. I expected more of the al pastor, though. It was a bit dry and not as flavorful as I had expected.

If you're thinking of going to MiRanchos or any other Mexican restaurant around Aiken you will be missing out on one hell of a great treat! This is a family owned and ran true authentic Mexican restaurant and the food is made from scratch. Your mind as well go to Taco Bell if you go anywhere else. Don't let the location fool you they might as well as pulled the restaurant from Mexico and dropped it off right there.

First visit. All 3 of us really enjoyed our lunch. Great service. Will be back often.
