Great place for families to eat! They have a game room andjuke box! Foods amazing. A must go to

Five stars for the burgers and entire experience.

Weighing in just shy of 1/2 pound, their burgers – which come with mayo, unless otherwise requested – are arguably among the best we've found in the CSRA – the patties are hand-formed and have remained unchanged since 1950, though the place has changed ownership since then.

Next time, I'd like to try the fried chicken – a daily buffet offering. The other meats at the small steam table rotate.

Their shakes ($5) are made with real ice cream and that's about the extent of their dessert offerings. I hear they're good.

To be honest, we were hesitant to try L&M due to some earlier Google reviews suggesting rude service and a dirty dining room. Upon our visit, the place was spotless and recently renovated – and our server couldn't have been more friendly or on-the-ball even though she was working the dining room and cash register alone.

A couple of tips: Unless you're dining from the buffet, L&M might not be the best choice if you're in a hurry. Not an issue with us. You can call ahead, though, for takeout. Delivery is available in approximately a 12-mile radius with a $20 minimum; no hidden delivery charges.

Looking forward to going back.
