Govan's Sports Blues and Soulfood Restaurant

First time visiting Govan's with my high school classmates and we had a great time! The food was good and staff was very friendly and accommodated our needs. Will definitely go again when I come home to visit.

Very nice atmosphere the food was fantastic we truly enjoyed the hospitality as well we got the Opportunity to meet the owner's Great!! folks if you're in the allendale Fairfax Hampton area of south carolina do your self a favor and stop by we absolutely enjoyed the experience

Went here as we were passing through, absolutely loved the place. Ordered the burger and fries with a side of Mac and cheese. Really wanted to try the oxtail, unfortunately they were out. The owner brought us some of the signature wings to try, OH my goodness, they were honestly the best wings I have had in years. They are so large they really could be a meal in themselves, and the sauce.... It is sweet with a perfect amount of heat...
We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet Mr and Mrs Govan, and there lovely daughter. This family embraces the community, and are gracious hosts to passers-by. Thank you for a lovely lunch, and we will definitely make this a go to restaurant when we are in the area.

Govan's Sports Blues and Soulfood Restaurant is definitely the place to go on a Friday night, if you want good food, an awesome atmosphere, and absolutely amazing music to dance to...the vibe at Govan's is inviting! The owners are very down to earth lovely people. They have created a wonderful space for all to enjoy...Govan's is beautiful and clean, the food that comes out of the kitchen is fresh, and the service is great! I like that they talk with you to let you know that they may be short staff, but will get to you right away. They are definitely people of their word...I endorse this message, so please just don't take from me...go and experience the love, fun, and great food for yourself! It was my first time there and definitely will not be my last!

This place was awesome! Owner was super friendly- we were greeted as soon as we walked in and that is huge for me. She thoroughly described the menu and was quite charismatic. The server was very attentive as well. We were driving home to VA from FLA and found this place on google in SC. Great experience all around!
