Little Pigs BBQ of Anderson

There are SO many good things to say about Little Pigs. Seriously.

This is a good old fashioned South Carolina BBQ place. Not only is the food good but they give you plenty. I'm 6'0 and weigh 205lbs and have never been able to finish my plate in over 30 years.

If you are someone who prefers aesthetics over substance go somewhere else. The decor hasn't changed much over the years which is fine by me - I don't like change. Besides, I'd rather they stick to good food than interior design.

They serve wonderful barbecue as well as burgers and fish the portions are huge and the service is always friendly and quick. This restaurant is located in a shopping Center on North Main Street there's a large sign outside so you can't really miss it if you're headed up North Main it would be on the left about a block about a block from Wells Fargo Bank. They are always closed the week of the 4th of July but the rest of the time they're open from 11 in the morning till late at night. Drinks are refillable as needed. This is one restaurant that has been in Anderson South Carolina since I was a child well over 50 years ago. If you are around the area and really really hungry this is the perfect place to go.

Love, love, love this place! Have been eating here since I moved to Anderson 6 years ago. They are under new management but they are just as friendly when I walk in as the previous owners. That vinegar based BBQ sauce combined with the sweet coleslaw sauce is to die for. And nothing like some simple fries to break up flavor. You won't regret it.

This quaint little diner has been in Anderson since June 08, 1965. One thing for sure is you will not leave hungry. The only way the plates can be described is somewhat like Jesus feeding the multitudes of people with leftovers. That is to say lots of the meals can be shared. Their qualify has remained the same since I started going there in the late 70's. Go in and enjoy a meal.

OMG the BEST secret in Anderson, South Carolina! If I go back I'll show you the servings. This is no joke the servings are HUGE, service great, friendly and offer carry out plates for your left overs! Please take your phone in if you go because you'll want to share your experience.
