Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Sandwich was ok. My order was wrong. I noticed it on the order screen. I let her know i didn't order french fries, i ordered Cajun Dirty Rice. Still got fries. The tiniest packet of fries! Old and cold. I spent too much for this disappointing experience. She needs to Listen to Her Customers! I even gave a tip! Went home and was disappointed ☹️????☹️ please Retrain.!!!???????????????????????? I went there to get shrimp. They were out. ????

I rolled through today (Friday, 5/15/20) a little after 11am and ordered via drive-thru. The long drive-thru lines and reviews of long wait times have kept me from trying this place since its opening. I’m glad I gave it a chance today. The drive-thru line moved quickly and I was in and out in under 7 minutes.

Charlene took my order with such bright and positive attitude! I had trouble locating a coupon code for an offer currently on their website and she kindly assisted me. I ordered spicy tenders, red beans and rice, and cajun fries. Overall, this Louisiana native was very satisfied!

COVID-19 info:
Through the pick-up window, I noticed employees wore masks and gloves. They hand your food to you boxed then bagged, and placed on a large tray. The employee at the window instructed me to grab the bag, not the tray, for a physically contact free exchange. I appreciate the steps they’ve taken to help protect the safety of their team and the customers they serve and their efforts to create physical contact free exchanges in the midst of COVID-19.

Popeye's Chicken is delicious. Period. They are still in training mode, so yes you do have to wait. But I would rather wait 10 minutes for hot & fresh chicken than get chicken that has sit out for 30 minutes and become overcooked and dry. Now their sides can use some work, which is why I stick to the mashed potatoes. Mac and cheese has a long way to go. I love Mac and cheese and if they could improve that Popeye's would be perfection! Like the biscuits too but wish they were a little bigger.
