El Paso Mexican Restaurant & Bar LLC

I was out with some friends and they suggested this place - a great recommendation! The waitress was both friendly and knowledgeable, providing suggestions and insight regarding the menu choices. My test for a new Mexican restaurant is always the hard shell beef taco, and this one did not disappoint. It wasn't the best I've ever eaten, but certainly something that I didn't have to choke down. The other dish that I sampled, called the Tex Mex - steak shrimp and chicken over rice with cheese sauce over it all - was excellent, and I stuffed myself finishing every last bite. The chips were nice and fresh and there were two kinds of salsa offered - a mild and a hot, the hot being only mildly spicy... just perfect for flavor without having to grab a fire extinguisher! Highly recommended, and next time I'm in Belton South Carolina, I'll definitely be eating here!

Two salsas, one more like tomato sauce and one sorta spicy. Cold beer. We both had the same thing, chalupa, taco, rice and beans. Good. Good, fast and friendly service.
