We always ask for Tristie Ann as a waitress because shes the best Food is always great with a great atmosphere.

Every thing I have eaten here has been delicious - the shrimp po’boy, southwest egg rolls, Caesar salad, and BLACK BEAN SOUP. All got, fresh, and amazing. Highly recommend!

Never had bad food at this place...popular with locals.

Today my friend and I went to the Islander for lunch. I had been warned of the wait and was encouraged to order about 20 mins before arriving but I still decided to wait until we got there to order. I did experience the long wait time, however the food was EXCEPTIONAL!!! I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with onion rings and it was so freakin' good! The onion rings were handmade and just the right amount of crunch! I ate them with ranch dressing. So good! The philly cheesesteak was good as well but those onion rings were awesome! For an appetizer, my friend ordered the Southwest Egg Rolls and they were great! Then she order the wings and let me have one. In one word: OHMAGAWD!!!! They had a dry rub on them so if that is not your thing, you may not like these. But they reminded me of what my mom cooks at home...Everything was amazing! Besides the long wait and us being on our lunch break, I would suggest this place to any and everyone!
