Very friendly staff. Mac was great. Local restaurant with meat and three should take the time to make their meats home-made though. Would love to try their breakfast and hand cut fries.

Family-owned restaurant, small town atmosphere, awesome meat and three plates Monday through Friday. If you go there you have to try the sweet potato fries with powdered sugar on top. This is my favorite small restaurant in Pendleton.

This place offers a great grill menu as well as a breakfast menu. At lunch, they have a meat and 3 or meat and 4. One of your choices at lunch you can choose a dessert instead of another vegetable. They had a peach cobbler on the day I went there and it was like grandma used to make. So so good. Everything is made from scratch. I'm pretty sure nothing comes from a can. If it does they sure do their magic on it cause when you taste it, it's just like homemade with salt and seasonings in it. They are very busy at lunchtime. The employees park their cars across the street in order to leave parking for their customers. I was very impressed with that. They will also offer to get you another cup of tea, or whatever you're drinking so you can have it filled in a to-go cup to take it with you when you're ready to leave. That's a plus in my book. cause I always want my drink in a cup that I can take with me in the car. Don't take my word for all this. Go there and see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. This place used to be named Waffle King. They have also added on and have a much larger space to accommodate more people or large parties. It has been years since I was the last time as I don't live in Pendleton anymore. But it's still only about 10 miles from me. I will definitely go back again very often. All you need to do is go there 1 time and you will be coming back every chance you get. I just don't have a bad thing to say about Youngs Cafe. It's really that great.

Just had the chili cheeseburger plate all the way...lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle with fries and slaw...Folks, it doesnt get any better than this ! This is a large burger made to order and the chili is perfection. The slaw is obviously house made, fresh and on point....I gave 5 stars, which rarely happens. Check it out !!
