Antonio's Pizza and Pasta Powdersville, SC

Initially the review below pertained. They have since improved drastically.

"Pros: decent food at fair prices, convenient location, good parking availability.

Cons: 1. Waited 1.5 hours for a to go order despite being told via software it would be between 30-40 minutes.
2. Rude cashier who was completely indifferent, avoided eye contact, wasn't the least bit concerned about my wait, etc.
3. Despite my wait, zero offers for fee reduction. There was an offer for a soda while I waited.
4. Subpar packing job of the food, sauce leaked everywhere and I'll have to get my car cleaned.

This place has the feeling of still trying to "get it together." I hope they do, but they certainly don't as of now."

Current review: All the cons have been fixed. Food quality has improved, customer service is SO much better, pick up times have been cut in half. So glad I tried them again!!

Antonio's is always a great experience. I've been here several times now. The servers are wonderful! And if anything ever does happen to go wrong with an order, they are super apologetic and try to make it up to you as best they can. Wonderful people!

Good pizza, and a clean modern look to the restaurant. The pasta was amazing when they first opened, but something changed maybe 2-3 months into business. I haven't tried their pasta since. But the pizza is hot. Nice place to sit down and eat.

We were in the Greensville area for 2 days. Needed pasta choices. After looking at a few places on line decided on this place. Not what I expected but Okay for the area. Fast service but the waitress was a bit annoying. We were there for 45 minutes...she came over 10 times or more. Just smiled and answered back. Then had to inform her about a mistake on the tab( shorted herself). Owners may wish to role play with the staff, check on their work and review basics. Pizza looked good but didn't try.

We've heard nothing but good things about Antonio's, so we decided to try it last night. Of course, we decided to go at 6pm on a Friday night, so everyone and their brother was there. We had at least a 40 min wait to be seated. When we did get seated, it took way too long to get food and drinks. The food was good. We highly recommend The Calamari and the Buffalo Shrimp! Very tasty and not overcooked, perfect! Entrees were very good. I like the fact that you can pick the type of pasta, from their list, to go with your meal. However, I was disappointed that they did not offer any bread, unless you asked for it...at an Italian place? I really wanted to like this place, but, it did not live up to the hype. Staff was nice and attentive, but the place was too small for a Friday night crowd. Also like that the management worked the floor as well. We will give it another try, just to be fair, but....first impressions!
