Big Water Marina and Campground

We just stayed there for a week. It's just an average at best RV park or at least this time of year there is not much to do there due to everything was closed for the season. Staff were nice, bathroom facilities and showers were dated but ok to use. We got to take some pretty pictures of the sunsets and the marina too while there. But probably won't rush back to stay there again at this time of the year in the future.

Rented a pontoon today with family. Six adults, a teenager, a first grader & a large dog. We were all comfortable. Boat ran well. We did some fishing & some exploring. The marina also offers RV camping, full hook-up or electric/water. The marina store was well-stocked, but overpriced, as would be expected. Boat rental was very reasonable, however. Restaurant was closed for the season. Lake was low, but honestly I enjoyed mostly having the lake to ourselves. Highly recommend!

I had a Great stay, Page is a great hostess. I arrived around 7pm, was greeted by a gift bag left at my site. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. AMAZING views, and SO quiet. Bar and restaurant on site.

Best place to visit on any lake we have found. Live the views, food and atmosphere. Every time we go to Lake Hartwell we head straight to Big Water Marina. Can’t wait for spring so we can go back.

Rented boat for 8 hours. Boat was 16 passenger 115hp. Very nice rentals. They offer a deal for cooler and ice at rental (guess they ran out of coolers, got 2 small coolers in place) they don't offer the towing tubes for the kids like other rental locations. The store and restaurant was closed alittle confusion where to go. Several people working outside said go up stairs but doors were locked. Walked out to boat dock and a very nice employee helped us get ready to go. The store at dock closed also. She walked up to other store to let me buy some drinks. Thanks 😊 it was hot.
Highly recommend you stop for snacks and drinks on way because hard to find once you get boat.
