    Howie's is a family restaurant in the old greasy-spoon style, serving Southern-fried favorites like fat onion rings with huge chicken tenders in a light, crispy, golden batter dip; crunchy, fried okra with an awesome fried fish sandwich; stewed lima beans and fries with a pork chop sandwich...or shrimp...or lots more. The Coke is cold, tea is sweet, and the service is even sweeter. We had a nice drive, sat in the air conditioning to eat, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

    Always pleasant, there is a wait time, but the food is worth it. Love the catfish nuggets.

    Amazing Slaw Dawgs!

    I have mine with everything but onions. You will need to get 2 Don't forget the napkins!!!
