Burnt Church Distillery

Fun spot in Bluffton! Location, food and service was great. The building is a site to see. Head chef, Shakur, came over to make certain the food and whole experience met our expectations. Live music was an added bonus!!

Beautifully done distillery. Definitely worth a visit or two or more. Offers their own whisky, bourbon, gin, and more. All smooth and flavorful. Wine and beer also available. There is a pizzeria onsite with well-made, tasty thin crust pizza Other light bites are also available. Comfortable and welcoming tables and bar. Wait staff is excellent. Highly recommended.

Awesome whiskey experience. They have a great selection. Rhett(sorry if I misspelled) was great, told us about the brand and made one of the best old fashioned I have ever had. The food was great too. Definitely worth a visit!

I tried the whiskey flight and it was fantastic. The Bluffton whiskey was my favorite and I bought a bottle to bring home. Anita's choice is also very good. My wife had the Honey Brew and she really enjoyed it. They don't have a great food menu but it is a distillery. We went here for drinks and an appetizer and then went somewhere else for dinner. It's a cool place to visit and have a cocktail. Cheers!

We were there on Wednesday for lunch, not very busy at all. Our server was indifferent and inattentive, seemed she would rather be somewhere else. We had a couple of pizzas, salad, wings and iced tea. Ice tea came in a very small glasses and we had to ask and wait for sweetener. It took forever to get the waitress’ attention for any refills. And then it was at least 10 minutes before the tea came because she said they ran out. Never got the additional sweetener we asked for. Pizza crust was weird and a little pasty. The salad was tasty and fresh. Asked for to go boxes and got one and had to ask and wait for the second one (pizza for one party and salad for the other). We go out often and tip generously but could not understand why this particular service was so difficult. Not one smile the entire service. Luckily the company we sat with was fantastic and we enjoyed our hour there overall. The building/atmosphere is amazing. Prices were reasonable, maybe on the high side but not objectionable.
