Ate here for the first time today. I had meatloaf, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. My friend had the salmon and grits. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

A restaurant with fresh fruit and veggies grown on the property. Outstanding menu with fresh shrimp to boot. Excellent food and a great southern charm. PS leave room for the homemade ice cream and peach cobbler if you can.

I have been here twice. Last time was the Saturday before Father's Day! It was my brother's father's day treat! We decided to go midday on Saturday at 2 pm. We still had a 30 minute wait! Got seated...waitress was very efficient and eager to get drink and food orders. However it took over 30 minutes to get our food. The food was delicious as it had been before. I had the specialty, Fried Chicken with mac and cheese and field peas (kinda like black eyed peas). The cornbread muffin was lackluster as it was dry and just nothing great! Portions are big so no one had dessert. I do like this place a lot but I feel like the wait for table and food could be prevented.

I ordered the 4 vegetable plate.($12) Generous servings and very delicious. Waiter was awesome and delightful. Not a long wait for our food. We shared a table with 2 others and really enjoyed chatting with them. Will definitely return.
