Our first visit as we live full time on HHI. Your Monday night staff needs a raise. They were spread so thin, but the stress never showed. If the restaurant was busier I suspect my review would be very different. It’s not possible for 1 bartender to manage ALL tables and the bar. Food and engagement from both the chef and bartender was great while sitting at the bar.

This place was really fantastic. Since we are restaurant owners here in Beaufort county, it is quite rare to get a Friday night off but we did and luckily wound up at Crudo in Old Town Bluffton.
Very cute and intimate bistro-style restaurant with old world charm. The staff was incredible. We sat at the bar and spoke with Scott (who happens to be an incredible musician) and Johnathan, a sophisticated world-traveller and all around great person. They crafted beautiful towers, sushi rolls and crudos right in front of us. Jackson looked and acted the part of a real deal manager/bartender and made me an awesome old fashioned.
Food and pace were expertly curated and managed by Chef Carl Shuman and Will. I can promise you the boar pappardelle was worth the trip on its own and the best plate of pasta I have had in as long as I can remember.
Great value, cool spot and definitely a must try.

I've been eyeing this new restaurant for awhile, so me and my boyfriend decided to try it. It was worth it! It was dead when we got there, but hey, we love a quiet restaurant sometimes. The place is a little bit small, but I love its interior. Me and my boyfriend both fell in love with their dish. We tried some of their features, like the Tuna Crudo and Pork Belly bao bun, and both were perfection! Their Rockefeller may be one of the best oysters that I've ever had. I had the catch of the day (salmon), and the taste was awesome. My boyfriend was curious about the Cajun dumplings, and boy, that dish didn't disappoint us. The drinks were fabulous as well! The food was a little bit pricey, but it was all worth it. We had a great experience, from service to food. Kudos to the owner and chef! A must-visit place indeed. Will definitely visit this place again.

Food, service, and ambiance was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and fresh. The cocktails are handcrafted to perfection. The Cajun Rabbit was served piping hot and the Poke Bowl special was well balanced and delicious. It has a big city aesthetic with a southern heart. Looking forward to our next visit to see what the chef chooses to serve up!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Hilton Head and were a little disappointed by a few meals we had over there, so we decided to expand our search out to the Bluffton area for dinner one night, and oh my CRUDO was by far the best food we had on our trip! Well worth the drive back across the bridge.

We opted to not have any cocktails that night, but I’m sure they are wonderful. We shared a half dozen Mama Mia oysters to start, which were excellent, and we decided on a whim to get two of the pork belly bao buns that were a special that night - these were ridiculously delicious and bursting with flavor, we were so impressed.

For the entrees we each got the lobster roll, which was wonderful too. Buttery, decadent, and very filling. The grain side salad that came with the roll was a great pairing for adding brightness and freshness to the indulgent, buttery goodness of the lobster - we enjoyed it all so much that there was no need for any takeout boxes.

Then to round off the night, we decided to go ahead and share a scoop of the cinnamon swirl gelato which was also great and not too sweet.

This was such a wonderful dinner, I would absolutely recommend it for a date night or when you’re just looking to try something new - the value is definitely there for the amount you’re spending.

If we lived in the area we would be frequent visitors, but if you ever decide to open another location you’d be warmly welcomed in Lexington, KY :)
